Independence
Advertising does not change calculation formulas, preset values, confidence, comparison outcomes, or recommendations. The site does not ask users to click adverts. Provider failure or ad blocking does not disable the calculator.
Labels and placement
Third-party units use the label Advertisements, reserve space to reduce layout shift, and remain visually separate from navigation, downloads, forms, results, and other controls. Wattwise does not use arrows, misleading headings, animations, rewards, or requests to draw clicks to ads.
Eligible placements appear only after the main calculator or comparison task, or within sufficiently substantial editorial content. The site limits ad density and excludes account recovery, settings, security, billing, administration, private household workspaces, and other sensitive contexts from third-party advertising.
Sponsored and affiliate content
Sponsored content will use the Sponsored label only when a real sponsorship exists. Any affiliate relationship must be disclosed near the link or recommendation. No sponsorship, affiliate programme, or ad-free paid plan is active unless explicitly shown on the relevant page.
Privacy choices
Optional advertising follows the recorded privacy choice and regional provider requirements. Private household, account, bill, meter, upload, address, and security information is not supplied to the advertising adapter.
